The Code Hangout will bring like minded kids together, in a comfortable, clubhouse-like atmosphere, where they can learn the principles of coding. Emphasis on Comfortability and Collaboration. This is not a classroom setting, and kids will be encouraged to sit where they are comfortable, in chairs, on the floor, etc. and will be encouraged to seek advice and help from their peers. The kids can work in groups, teams, or individually. I will be there to help explain the concepts, give real world examples, and help nudge everyone in the right direction.

Me. Danny Brennan, a Healdsburg resident who is eager to expose kids in the community to computer science and technology in a comfortable setting. I see technology available to kids as a very powerful tool for both their education, and also the help open doors of opportunity later on it life. I have worked for 20+ years as a software developer, and look forward to giving back some of the skills I've learned back to the Healdsburg Community.
